POI MAP - is a local database to store places of personal interest worldwide (POI base), based on the GPS information of the location on your phone or tablet. Generate with POI MAP a personal directory of places, caches, sightseeing points,.. you've been. Add the locations of interest of your trip in a personal database. In seconds, you can save any location, add pictures and add 5-star rankings, notes, #tags, own categories and more to your Point of Interest (POI). Find sights again around you on a personal map or in the list overview. Use the incredibly fast full-text search to find one of your POI again. Every entry is marked with the date of creation/modification as a timestamp to see the actuality of the information at a glance.
Privacy is all for us. Every information is stored only on your phone. We don't know your data. It is completely private!
POI MAP is extremely fast way. To add new POI you can use the list of interesting locations around you, an integrated search function for specific POIs, the MAP APP of your device, the GPX location direct or your pictures and their GPX informations.
Driver of our development is the privacy - we store all information locally on your mobile. No server connect.
## Save POI is that easy !
Bookmark any location in seconds. If additional information exists via internet, we add it (web site, opening hours, telephone number,...). Add images to your location to recognise the POI easily later on. You can use the search function in "+" to find specific POI anywhere and generate a new POI directly.
Find a location in the MapAPP of your device and share it with POI MAP. We automatically create a location and complete it.
Take a picture and share it with POI MAP. We generate a place based on the GPS information of the image.

We offer the basic functions in a free version. For the extended functionality we charge a one-time fee via InAPP purchase of the PRO - version.
